Number 1 carpet and flooring specialist
From an ex-army store to the Island's carpet and flooring specialist
We started in 1954 as an ex-army and navy store in our original premises on Fort Street, Douglas, developing into supplying bedding and linen, workwear, school uniforms and leisure clothing, with the local tourist trade as our main customer base.
The carpet section started in 1962, from simply providing small rugs and runners, then larger room-size rugs, before supplying and fitting whole rooms. We continued to grow the flooring side of the business until 1998, when we needed new premises. The new site now takes three units, stocking rolls of carpet and vinyl as well as Amtico, Moduleo, VLF and Karndean, plus rugs, mats and runners.
Always get an estimate from us for the full job fitted, rather than just comparing headline material prices — we don't hide our costs with extras. We pride ourselves on having the best fitting and after-sales service around.
Never buy a carpet without getting a price from us first.
